Part 2 of Kari & Nik’s Beaver Creek amazing wedding weekend! Today’s blog post highlights their Indian wedding ceremony, held at The Pines Lodge in Beaver Creek. Colors and textures and details – oh my! A visual feast! Working with Kari and Nik and their families was so wonderful – I love how they embraced the combining of their culture and traditions to create something so unique and special, and so representative of them.
The day began early with the bridal preparations – I love this shot of Kari
Drums resounded throughout the valley, echoing across the mountains of Beaver Creek as the groom’s family and friends celebrated and danced their way during the processional leading the groom (on a white horse!) to meet the bride’s family.

Major kudos to Kelly Karli of Frosted Pink Weddings – both she and her assistant Lauren are fantastic and so thorough in the coordinating of this entire event. Also wanted to give a shout out The Pines Lodge at Beaver Creek – the venue is beautiful and the staff there is so attentive and service-oriented. Earlier this week Devon & Mark, accompanied by their sweet dogs, met up with me for their Colorado engagement session near Lookout Mountain. So adorable. (and the humans didn’t do too shabby either ;) We had so much fun – Devon and Mark laugh easily …
