Breckenridge Wedding ~ Jessica & Travis

Working with these two has been an absolute blast – they are down-to-earth and laugh easily and are such a delight to photograph. Their Colorado mountain wedding at the Mountain Thunder Lodge was perfect, beginning with a heartfelt and emotional ceremony (not a dry eye in the house – including mine :) The reception that followed was a perfect celebration: raucous and wild and SO much fun. I love the personal touches that Jessica & Travis incorporated into the day, but my favorite deserves special mention: pez dispenser escort cards – how fun is that?!  A few faves..

Keystone Ranch Wedding ~ Suepattra & Scott

The entire day was flawlessly coordinated by Emily from Bella Event Design and Planning, and it  was a perfect blend of rustic elegance – a majestic mountain backdrop and glorious Colorado weather. Suepattra & Scott are wonderful – so sweet and expressive and full of joy. I just love how they light up around each other.

Keri & Will’s wedding at Ten Mile Station, Breckenridge

colorado weddingWhen Will first contacted me about his upcoming Colorado destination wedding at Ten Mile Station in Breckenridge, we immediately clicked. Part of it was a mutual love for travel (I spent a good chunk of time (8 years!) living/traveling/working in Europe, and  Will also has the travel bug having put in the miles gallivanting the globe on all sorts of adventures). Part of our connection was also that Will is a professional photographer (and an incredibly talented one at that!). A couple of phone calls later, after geeking out over f-stops and light, I was absolutely thrilled to be hired to be Will and Keri’s wedding photographer. It’s always a special honor when another photographer approaches me about shooting his or her wedding, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about Will and Keri – they are simply amazing and I wish them a world of happiness together. Karen & Brian’s wedding ~ Mary’s Lake Lodge, Estes Park

Their outdoor ceremony at Mary’s Lake Lodge was such an honest reflection of their love for one and other, personal and intimate.

Kudos to one of my all-time favorites wedding planners Gabby from Save the Date Events, who coordinated the event down to every last stunning detail with flawless perfection.  Some of the other vendors who contributed to the success of the day include: Mary’s Lake Lodge – venue for the wedding ceremony and reception, floral provided by Whole Foods, delicious cakes created by Elyse McGraw of Icing, Etc, and DJ Ken Hiatt of Quality Mobile Sound rocked the house.
