Lea & Matt braved the chilly winter weather for their Colorado engagement session at the Highlands Ranch Mansion. These two met way back in high school and are so adorable together – they are sweet and fun and I love how they make each other laugh. Both are incredibly natural in front of the camera, and I can’t wait for their Colorado mountain wedding next summer at Ten Mile Station in Breckenridge. Special thanks to Maggie at the Highlands Ranch Mansion for allowing us to shoot there ♥

Katie and Jeff are engaged! And actually, by this time next week this sweet couple will be married! Their joy is infectious and they clearly adore each other, but they absolutely beam when they start talking about their dog Bjorn. Bjorn survived a pretty severe accident about a year and a half ago and has three legs and a missing tooth (and a tongue that goes on for days!) – and he is such a sweetheart. We had a blast during their Wash Park engagement session, and I’m so excited for their upcoming wedding at the Sanctuary! A few favorites..
Melissa and Kyle both share a love of the great outdoors, which made Evergreen Lake the perfect backdrop for their engagement session. From our very first phone call I knew I wanted to work with them – they are warm and down-to-earth, and SO much fun. They admitted to being somewhat reluctant subjects in front of the camera, which of course I took as my own personal challenge :) And they did great! I just love their connection to one and other – how they light up around each other, and how they laugh. Congratulations, you two, and I can’t wait for your Colorado mountain wedding at the Sonnenalp in Vail later this year.
Jenn and Nick are so wonderful to work with – sweet and down-to-earth, and exude such warmth and a natural ease in front of the camera. These two are planning the most amazing destination wedding next year on the island of St John, so for their engagement session we wanted to capture a sense of the rustic natural beauty of Colorado. And our location couldn’t have been more perfect. I just love the sweeping expanse of the mountains and incredible sunset, as well as a view of Nick’s grandfather’s barn in the distance. A few favorites..
with their adorable pup! a bit camera-shy, but we were able to get a quick shot with the dog before she retreated for cover
