Wild Horse Inn Wedding ~ Brittney & Tom

It’s a story as old as time.. a classic boy meets girl (at a zoo) Boy loves frogs; girl loves flamingos. Boy falls in love with girl, and girl falls in love with boy. But boy still loves frogs too. (and girl still swoons over flamingos :)

Brittney and Tom both work at the Denver Zoo, and are specialists in their respective fields. In fact, as I write this Brittney is somewhere in Africa traipsing around after her birds. Their Colorado mountain wedding at the Wild Horse Inn in Fraser (Tabernash?) near Winter Park was simply beautiful. A perfect reflection of them - very organic and natural, with a green palate, damask accents, and amphibian references. They even transported over 40 (!) live trees to the Wild Horse Inn for the tent decor. Incredible. So without further ado..

Katie & Troy’s wedding ~ Winter Park

I loved everything about Katie & Troy’s wedding in Winter Park – at the time of planning it was a destination wedding, but in the course of planning not only did Katie’s parents end up moving here, but Katie & Troy will soon be Coloradoans themselves! :) Katie and Troy are such wonderful people – they exude warmth and love and are just a joy to be with. On the wedding day we had glorious blue skies, an amazing 360-degree view from atop the mountain at the Lodge at Sunspot, and a breathtaking sunset. In true Colorado style, the bride arrived with her parents on the ski lift to walk down the aisle – it just doesn’t get much better than this! The ceremony on the outdoor patio was so heartfelt and touching, and was followed by a lovely reception inside the lodge. Such a pleasure to be working with Kara Delay from Pick-Me Flowers who expertly coordinated the event to flawless perfection. A few favorites..

Some of the impeccable details from Megan and Matt’s intimate wedding ceremony up at Devil’s Thumb Ranch in Tabernash, Colorado. The decor was stunning. Simple. Elegant. Classic. Megan’s hair and makeup was done by the oh-so-talented Tracy at Love Hair Studio. She found her gorgeous Vera Wang dress at the fabulous Anna Bé boutique in Denver. And check out the gorgeous arrangements and bridal bouquets from Erin at Plum Sage Flowers – aren’t they fabulous? Megan and Matt ~ wedding at Devil’s Thumb Ranch

Megan and Matt are leaving today on their honeymoon (and they’re headed to an undisclosed location; Matt is surprising Megan by keeping the location a secret until they get to the airport – don’t you just love that?!) So in hopes that will check the blog before they leave I just had to post a sneak peek of a few shots from Friday’s amazing wedding. Their intimate ceremony was held up in Tabernash at the spectacular Devil’s Thumb Ranch. Breathtaking is an understatement.

Meredith & Dave ~ August 4th

What an INCREDIBLE weekend!
Meredith & Dave and their guests boarded the Ski Train at Union Station early Saturday morning and headed up to Winter Park for a perfect wedding day. Surrounded by friends and family and breathtaking views of the Continental Divide, they had their mountain-top ceremony on the terrace just outside The Lodge at Sunspot. The reception was held back in Denver at the ultra-hip Via Trattoria.

I had so much fun with you both – thank you for having me be a part of capturing your day!
