Vail in September is simply glorious, a breathtaking Colorado mountain backdrop with aspen leaves shimmering gold – and the ideal location for Sarah & Mike’s wedding. It was a day infused with love and joy, laughter and family. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, Sarah & Mike exchanged vows in an intimate and heartfelt wedding ceremony at the Betty Ford Alpine Gardens in Vail, followed by an elegant reception at Cucina Rustica at the Lodge at Vail. Huge thanks to Emily Campbell from Bella Design and Planning who planned and coordinated this event to perfection down to every last exquisite detail. Christy & Mike’s New Year’s Eve Wedding ~ The Arrabelle, Vail

I’ve been dying to share Christy and Mike’s beautiful winter wedding on New Year’s Eve in Vail – it was absolutely magical, and they braved the weather to hold their outdoor ceremony on the deck at The Arrabelle at Vail Square overlooking the snowy Colorado slopes.

And to give credit where credit is due to the amazing team of vendors involved, including the oh-so-talented Sally Freeman of Face F/X who did a phenom job on makeup, gorgeous hair by Andi from Rucci Hair Salon, and the bride’s dress from Priscilla’s of Boston. The incredible bouquet and floral design and decor was provided by Vintage Magnolia, and live music for both the ceremony and reception was provided by Peter Fontanese Productions (incredible muscians!) And finally, the entire evening was expertly executed by Terri Hanley and the entire staff at The Arrabelle at Vail Square with impeccable service and flawless attention to detail. Big kudos to all for an amazing amazing evening.

Michelle and Hector’s wedding at Cordillera

Here’s a quick sneak peek at another fabulouso wedding – Michelle and Hector got married up at Cordillera a few weeks ago. We started with the getting ready photos at the Lodge and Spa at Cordillera, and then headed up to the Timber Hearth Grill e for the ceremony and reception. It was spectacular – a breathtakingly gorgeous fall backdrop, with the aspen just starting to turn gold.. The entire event was perfectly coordinated by Carolyn Moorman at Artisan Events – such a treat to work with her and her team.

Alissa and Josh ~ engaged!!

Last week I went up to Vail with Alissa and Josh to shoot their engagement session atop the mountain where Josh had proposed (on skis!) last winter. These two are simply adorable – and so much fun!! We spent time shooting around Vail village before heading up in the gondola. Here’s a quick peek at a few of my faves..

Their wedding will be at the Evergreen Lake House in the fall and I can’t wait!!

Another weekend in the mountains! Renee and Bill celebrated a gorgeous Labor Day Weekend in style at the Donovan Pavillion in Vail. I love that first shot of Renee peeking out before the ceremony – she was so excited!

Paulina & Santiago ~ August 17, 2007

Paulina and Santiago had such an amazing wedding! Friends and family traveled thousands of miles to attend their traditional Mexican wedding ceremony at the Vail Interfaith Chapel, followed by a fabulous reception at the Donovan Pavillion. One of my favorite moments of the day was when Paulina and Santiago surprised everyone with their first dance song that they composed and recorded themselves! You can hear the song during the slideshow here. It was such a perfect day..
This was such a great moment – surrounded by the chaos of the dance floor, but completely oblivious to everyone else around.. I loved being a part of capturing your day ~ thank you, and congratulations!!
