I know some of you out there have been patiently waiting for this: Part III of Kari & Nik’s Beaver Creek wedding weekend! Such an amazing array of festivities for this Colorado mountain wedding (if you didn’t catch my earlier blog posts, you can click on the following links to see their Indian wedding rehearsal dinner as well as their Hindu wedding ceremony ) – and so this final installment includes their gorgeous evening ceremony at the Beaver Creek Chapel, with the wedding reception at Grouse Mountain Grill at the Pines Lodge of Beaver Creek. It was such a pleasure working with Kari and Nik and their families – I am so honored to have been a part of it. So without further ado..

Beaver Creek Wedding ~ Kari & Nik Indian Ceremony

Part 2 of Kari & Nik’s Beaver Creek amazing wedding weekend! Today’s blog post highlights their Indian wedding ceremony, held at The Pines Lodge in Beaver Creek. Colors and textures and details – oh my! A visual feast! Working with Kari and Nik and their families was so wonderful – I love how they embraced the combining of their culture and traditions to create something so unique and special, and so representative of them.

The day began early with the bridal preparations – I love this shot of KariDrums resounded throughout the valley, echoing across the mountains of Beaver Creek as the groom’s family and friends celebrated and danced their way during the processional leading the groom (on a white horse!) to meet the bride’s family.aerial view of the groom’s processional

Also wanted to give a shout out The Pines Lodge at Beaver Creek – the venue is beautiful and the staff there is so attentive and service-oriented. Beaver Creek Wedding ~ Kari & Nik Rehearsal Dinner

Kari & Nik’s wedding weekend was the merging of cultures and traditions – colorful and vibrant, and simply incredible. They kicked off the weekend’s festivities on Friday with an Indian rehearsal dinner in Vail at Donovan Pavilion to celebrate. A few highlights from the event..

Colorado Wedding Photographer ~ Suzanne & Bryant’s engagement session

Way back in March I got an inquiry from Suzanne, explaining that she’d be visiting Colorado for her cousin’s August wedding and wanted to schedule an engagement session during her time in Colorado. So after chatting about her vision (she’s a photographer too -I ♥ that!) we booked it… but not one engagement session, she decided on three sessions: two in Denver, one up in the mountains in Beaver Creek.

When she and her wonderful fiance arrived with their trio of pups it was such a treat. We spend one morning (early!) at Hudson Gardens, another late afternoon in my favorite rustic outdoorsy spot, and the third session was up at the Ritz Carlton, Bachelor Gulch. Amazing amazing time – they are so absolutely hilarious and fun. And their dogs just might have warmed up to me towards the end.. maybe :) Eventually we’ll get to talking about their wedding in St Louis in 2013, but for now these will have to suffice..

Leah and Nick ~ Beaver Creek September 29th

Another perfect weekend up in the mountains!
Leah and Nick had the most wonderful wedding weekend up at the Beaver Creek Resort. Festivities started on Friday with the rehearsal dinner at the spectacular Allie’s Cabin – we were surrounded by breathtaking views of the aspen turning gold.
And then on Saturday they held their wedding ceremony at the charming Beaver Creek Chapel followed by the reception just down the road at the Beaver Creek Club. Linda Shafer of Veils & Vows did an amazing job of coordinating the entire day – everything was so magical!! In fact, while friends and family danced the night away, outside the first few snowflakes of the season began to fall.
