Laura and Noah laugh. And laugh. A lot. And their joy is completely contagious. We had such a blast shooting their engagement session in Wash Park, wandering around the flowers and the lake. Vail in September is simply glorious, a breathtaking Colorado mountain backdrop with aspen leaves shimmering gold – and the ideal location for Sarah & Mike’s wedding. It was a day infused with love and joy, laughter and family. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, Sarah & Mike exchanged vows in an intimate and heartfelt wedding ceremony at the Betty Ford Alpine Gardens in Vail, followed by an elegant reception at Cucina Rustica at the Lodge at Vail. Huge thanks to Emily Campbell from Bella Design and Planning who planned and coordinated this event to perfection down to every last exquisite detail. With a backdrop of spectacular rock formations and breathtaking views, Emily & Ingram tied the knot at Arrowhead Golf Club. Emily and Ingram are wonderful – they laugh easily and are so much fun to work with. And their wedding was absolute perfection: romantic and elegant with a vintage sensibility (pretty and pink with feathers and crystals and all sorts of gorgeousness, including a vintage DeSoto utility vehicle to transport the bride and bridesmaids (a sneak peek of which was featured here on the Colorado Wedding Photographer blog), and later a vintage Bentley(I think?) as their getaway car). I love how they personalized their wedding, incorporating their love of travel into the theme of the decor (passport invitations, compasses as escort cards, tables named after places they’ve traveled) Some faves..
