Just a quick peek from Jennifer & Nathan’s wedding at the Mount Vernon Country Club. This is one of my favorites – I just love how the gust of wind lifted her veil and framed her face perfectly. But what I love more is the emotion that lights up her face as she gazes into the eyes of her groom – her expression says it all: joy. happiness. love. More to come, but for today, just this one.. It was a perfect sunny day in Wash Park for an engagement session with Kathleen and Brian and their three dogs. It was such fun getting to know the two of them and their remarkable relationship full of love, laughter, joy, and puppies. :) I’m excited to be working with them and can’t wait for their upcoming wedding at Denver’s historic Brown Palace Hotel. Welcome to the world, baby Lawson! This precious little bundle is so tiny and so perfect. Lauren & Rian, whose beautiful Colorado wedding I photographed at the Chatfield Botanic Gardens last summer, welcomed sweet Lawson into the world just two weeks ago – and he is amazing. I could just gaze at him for hours.. Thank you, Lauren & Rian – I’m so grateful to be a part of documenting these early precious moments for your wonderful family. My warmest congratulations to you both!!

The studio is busy these days with lots of babies and families.. must be something in the water :) You may remember Koby & Scott from their Colorado mountain wedding a few years ago at the Aspen Glen Club near Glenwood Springs. So naturally when I learned the news about the sweet new addition to their family I was thrilled. It’s always such an honor to get to be invited into people’s lives, to document as families are formed and morph and grow. From engagement to wedding to the beginning of a new family. Full circle. I love that.
Baby Anna is such a sweetheart, and at 8 months old she is a bundle of pure joy and delight, with bright beautiful eyes and an infectious smile that melts your heart. Warmest congrats to the proud parents!
