Gorgeous day + sweet light + amazing clients = fabulous engagement session. Earlier this week in almost spring-like conditions I met up with Millie and Jeff up at Red Rocks for their engagement session. I love being able to capture the connection that couples have with one an other, and Millie & Jeff are one of those couples that just exude joy when they are together - it’s the kind of joy that’s completely contagious and irresistible. And it makes me all the more excited for their wedding at The Lodge and Spa at Cordillera in May. Can’t wait!

Mmmm.. I can’t imagine a better way to start this Wednesday vendor feature than with the tantalizingly scrumptious desserts created and crafted by two of Colorado’s best bakeries. Rachael from Intricate Icings is the mastermind behind the two cakes featured here – with an incredible eye for detail Rachael works closely with each client to custom-tailor each design. And while her design work is amazing, that’s just the.. uh.. icing (sorry, couldn’t resist :) because her cakes taste heavenly. She bakes them fresh using the top quality ingredients and offers an array of innovative flavors – deeee-lish!
The cupcakes featured here are from Denver’s own Porche Lovely, of Lovely Confections. Her retail shop is centrally located in downtown Denver on Colfax and specializes in all things cupcake. Lovely Confections emphasizes a commitment to using locally produced and organic products whenever possible, and features an array of delicious flavors (including special flavors every weekend) .
