Wedding at Ten Mile Station, Breckenridge (part 2) ~ details

Just a few of the oh-so-fabulous details from Heather and John’s wedding over 4th of July weekend at Ten Mile Station in Breckenridge.. ten mile station wedding details
Heather has such a great sense of style, which is evident in her attention to detail – colorful pashminas artfully placed on the chairs for the guests before the ceremony, table number ‘books’ for guests to write personal wishes to the bride and groom, 4th of July sparklers with custom matchbooks, and more..

The entire wedding day was seamlessly and expertly coordinated by Emily Campbell of Bella Design and Planning. And additional credit goes out to the amazing vendors who worked on this event:

Hair & Makeup: Roots Hair

Dress: Priscilla of Boston/Cherry Creek

Wedding Officiant: Gretchen Abernathy

Colorado Portrait Photographer ~ High School Seniors Class of 2010

senior portraitAmazing high school senior portrait session yesterday!! Look how incredibly stunning she is, so much fun to work with and such a natural in front of the lens. Plus we had the most perfect Colorado backdrop – check out the thicket of wild sweet pea flowers in the shots below. Special thanks to Henry for being my stalwart assistant, and to all of you for braving the wild (bees, mosquitos, cacti, oh my!) in search for the perfect shot. As promised a few of my faves..

Colorado Wedding Photography ~ Allison & Andy at Planet Bluegrass (part III)

wedding bouquet

I know I gave a sneak peek a few weeks ago from Allison & Andy’s wedding at Planet Bluegrass, but I wanted to follow up with just a few of my favorites from their amazing day. Allison is an art teacher and it shows in her incredible attention to color and detail. Not only did she design and create most of the details of the day (decor, invitations, placecards, menus, programs, etc.), she even hand crafted Andy’s ring. And if you noticed the super cool skate shoes in the above photo – those Vans were the perfect choice for Andy, who owns a skateboard shop.

here’s Allison on her way to see Andy for the first time that day
