Megan and Matt are getting married! We had a chance to get together last weekend to shoot their engagement session and had so much fun! (and I got to meet Simon, their sweetest little dog – isn’t he adorable?) They plan to tie the knot in July, with an intimate wedding ceremony up at the gorgeous Devil’s Thumb Ranch up in Tabernash near Winter Park, and a reception the next day at DU’s Phipps Mansion Tennis Pavillion in Denver. I can’t wait!
Last week I met up with Allison and Andy in downtown Denver for their engagement session. I know I’ve mentioned it before, but I love shooting engagement sessions – it’s a great opportunity for us work together before the big day and more importantly, it gives me a chance to get to know my clients. We had a blast wandering the streets of LoDo with their two adorable dogs, and I can’t wait for their wedding next month up near Boulder at Planet Bluegrass – it is going to be fabulous!
One of the best compliments is when my clients come back to me year after year.. I get a chance to document each family as it grows and changes. And it is especially wonderful when I get the call from past wedding clients as they begin their families..
You may remember Sarah and Scott – I was the photographer for their wedding in July of 2007 at the Meadows at Marshdale in Evergreen. They came in to the studio a few weeks ago so that I could document the newest addition to their family – little M is four months old and is such a delight. His eyes are bright and curious, and his smile is infectious. I pretty much fell in love the moment I saw him.. Isn’t he adorable?
