Alissa and Josh’s wedding

091.jpgHere’s my updated blog post of Josh and Alissa’s fabulous wedding – they were married last week at St Paul’s near the capital building in downtown Denver. After the ceremony we had the some time to roam around LoDo before heading up to the Evergreen Lake House for the reception. It was cold. And rainy. And we had an absolute blast! Alissa and Josh are so much fun to be around – their enthusiasm is infectious! They happily braved the elements to capture these shots..

When we arrived at the reception at the Evergreen Lake House that evening we were greeted with a herd of elk grazing by the front gate..052.jpg

Congratulations, you two – warmest wishes to you both!

Michelle and Hector’s wedding at Cordillera

014.jpgHere’s a quick sneak peek at another fabulouso wedding – Michelle and Hector got married up at Cordillera a few weeks ago. We started with the getting ready photos at the Lodge and Spa at Cordillera, and then headed up to the Timber Hearth Grille for the ceremony and reception. It was spectacular – a breathtakingly gorgeous fall backdrop, with the aspen just starting to turn gold.. The entire event was perfectly coordinated by Carolyn Moorman at Artisan Events – such a treat to work with her and her team.

and the emotion on Hector’s face when he sees his bride 051.jpg

Congratulations, and best wishes!

Colorado kids portraits

Such a busy time of year.. especially for family and kids holiday portraits. Two weeks ago I shot 52(!) mini studio sessions of children – half of them were for a fundraiser, and the other half at Pottery Barn Kids for a photo promo within their store. Here are just a few teasers.. 01.jpg

And for any of you considering a family portrait in time for the holidays: I am already almost completely booked for family portrait sessions this fall ~ at this point there are only a few spots left between now and Thanksgiving. Sessions are offered outdoors on location, or in my brand new Wash Park studio. In addition to beautiful keepsake albums and framed prints & canvases, I offer fabulous custom holiday cards.

If you’re hoping to schedule a session, please call the studio soon!
