My favorite photo is an old black and white of my parents taken when I was about 3 years old. In this photo my parents are engulfed in an embrace, my mom's face buried in my dad's coat. Neither of them are focussed on the camera, and from the angle you can hardly see my mom's face. But what captivates me is the emotion that is caught in that single captured moment. It speaks volumes.
This is why I shoot. I love the real moments. The emotion, the unique details, the connections between people. I love telling a story in a single frame.
